Gone but Not Forgotten

 The Ira High School S.A.V.E. group (Students Against Violence Everywhere) memorialized an Ira student who was lost in 2008 in an shooting incident.  Stephan Kirk graduated from Ira in 2004.  She left behind a daughter, mother and brother who miss her terribly.

On my way back to my pickup after the ceremony I noticed that this isn't the first time Ira has remembered a lost classmate.
This bench memorializes a 13 year old who drown 1997.  Paul Stewart would be 26 now if he had not died.

Thank you Ira for not forgetting these kids who made contributions to what Ira is today.
