Calvary Hosts Shiloh

Every year at Christmas Shiloh www.shilohnet.com/about/  come for a visit and every year Calvary is amazed and pleased with their arrival and performance.  This year was no exception.  They sang their hearts out!

The audience enjoyed the music and entertainment as well as the great food from Skeets here in Snyder.  We had chicken fry with everything you could need with chicken fry.  I had the job of shooting in low light.  I used my flash some but I prefer not to under these circumstances, so that is why some of the images are a little different.

One song stood out to me that suggested your traditional Christmas music but was so fresh and new...  it was called 'That Night Was Anything But Silent'.  I loved it!  These guys are amazing.
Thank you Calvary for having such great connections to such talent!

Calvary Kid's Christmas Play

The families at Calvary always amaze me that they put so much effort into the plays and music that they present throughout the year to the congregation.  The children's choir is no exception.  The music was fresh, the kids were bold and well prepared and the evening service was so enjoyable.  Thank you all!  We loved it!

McAden

Having been raised as a Methodist, I just love watching baptisms that involve a pool of water rather than a basin of water!  This baptism was very special I know, to the McAdens, my pastor & his family.  Brother Larry got to baptize his oldest grandson last Sunday.  This is Jaxon McAden and his granddad Larry.

Proverbs 17:6 Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.
(Not saying that you are aged, Bro. Larry, just like the scripture!)

Watching Hayley Grow

I always get a kick out of this child.  She is just like her mother and grandmother.  This is Hayley Minton, daughter to Brittany Minton, granddaughter to Candy Jones.  They all look alike and act just alike!

Thank you again Hayley & Brittany for letting me take your picture.  You are a precious child.

Calvary's Christmas Contata

Calvary Baptist has cornered the market on music. Anyone who attends has to agree with that.
Steve Highfield has a God given talent for whippin' this bunch into shape and making them sing like angels.

Gale Northcott played a roll that suited her to a 'T', a half crazed woman under too much preasure to perform!

And LeDawn Liles, our youth ministers wife, sang. She has the most unique sweet voice I have ever heard!

Myron Fenton told the story...
Kem Nolan played a part...

Josh Liles, to the left and Paxton Jones both played parts.

Calvary, you guys did a great job AGAIN this year! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

Caden Higgins

Caden & his mom came to see me in the studio this weekend. He is just beautiful isn't he? Those big brown eyes melt my heart.

And he loves Thomas the Tank Engine, who is a personal favorite of mine.

Actually he thought he was going to get to KEEP my Thomas, which upset him greatly when he discovered Thomas had to stay with me.

Thank you for coming to see me Caden. You are a great kid and I enjoyed the time I spent with you!

My McCowen Thanksgiving

Here is where the problem started....

This is Clint & Francis, Shawn's folks, if there was ever anyone to blame, its them...

They brought this motley crew into the world. Shawn, his sister Clinta and younger sister Neika.
They all made their choices... Shawn chose me, Clinta chose Darrel and Neika chose Joel.

These are the people who had NO choice!

We have Jeremee, Blair, Jeremee's little boy Logan being held by Jordan
then Emily, Jadon, Jasmine and Raven.

This is Clinta's family: Jeremee, her husband Adam, Jordan, Clinta, Darrel and little Logan.

Logan is already getting his pole dancing act goin'!

These are the family newly weds!

Neika and her husband Joel.

Their son Jadon.

and daughter Jasmine, who is a tiny Neika!

These are the only people who would kiss for me on Thanksgiving. It made the kids so Happy!

The older folks with the younger folks.

Shawn and his sisters who love him so much! I wouldn't dare hurt Shawn's feelings for fear of what these two might do to me!

I love this picture. I think it is really cute.

That was Thanksgiving for me. Hope yall enjoyed a peek in.
