Random Pictures of Peggy's Family

I was so happy when Peggy Cullifer called me asking for a date to take pictures of her extended family. I had never met most of them although I have known Peggy for 15-17 years now. This was fun for me.

These pictures will seem very random because there were so many pictures to cover. So here goes:

Thanks for letting me work with you all, I enjoyed it, and I hope you like your pictures!

The Aiken Family

I had a really neat opportunity a few days ago. An opportunity that started way way way back in my past. The Ed Aiken family invited me to their 50th wedding celebration with their boys and their families.

Ed & Nancy (in white) were a part of all of my formative years in Sweetwater. His brother Don and wife Kay were on hand for the celebration.

Ed & Nancy were so playful and fun as I shoot their pictures. I usually have my subjects get into some serious kissing and they really had a fun time posing for me!

The Aiken boys, as we referred to them growing up, were always really nice guys. It was fun to see them grown with beautiful wives and outstanding kids.

This is Trey and his wife Susan.

Their oldest son Brent,

Ryan,

and Greg,

And Todd with his wife Mary Ellen

Their daughter Kate,

and Ally

This is Chris and his wife Lesley. Chris and I were in school together from elementary school on. It was so neat to see him married and so happy with his family, brothers, parents, nieces and nephews.

and their son Will,

and daughter Avery. While I was working on the shoot I really thought that Will was a mini-me of Chris but as I edited Avery I realized that Avery is the mini-me of Chris. There is an expression in her eyes that is her Daddy exactly.

Chris and I played together as Kindergarteners and his grandmother baby sat me while my mom and Nancy did things together. I always thought they were the coolest family ever and I was right, all these years later they were still fun, funny and beautiful!
Thank you Aiken families for inviting me to come and play!

Leaves and Ducks

You know that if I shoot it I have to blog it. It is some sort of strange obsession with me.
After I shoot the Edwards and Duke Families, I had to wait on the Hardin Simmons campus for my friends to return with my car so I entertained myself by shooting ducks and leaves.

This was a sweet little family of ducks that lived on the pond at the University. They just followed one another around and would get right up to the fountain to let the water hit them some then back out of the water and swim somemore.

These two appear to be having a conversation to me. I would bet that she (the one on the right) is telling him (left): "Hon, I just love our home."

"Since we added the fountain it just improved my mood so much."

The later it got in the evening, the lower they swam in the water. I don't know what was going on with that, I didn't even notice it until I got home and was reviewing the pix.

Thanks little ducky family!
