Apparently when you get your Masters you grow a tail and fins.. Who knew!

Jake Strickland.  Master of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University.  Heading to a new life and job in Houston very soon.  He has worked his butt off and has the collar and robe to show for it.  A degree is something that no one can take away from you.  You don't have to use it in the traditional line of thought but it will always be your own.  Jake we love you and have loved watching you grow into a good man and are looking forward to watching your life unfold before you.  God Speed.

But this is what my heart sees.....

And Blair leaves not only Western Texas College here in Scurry County with her Associates but also home to apply what she has learned so far to her new life.  This mama and her daddy are proud and pleased ...and PRAYING!  I can't even begin to describe how this feels for me.  She was so little so recently and now this!  Just like Clark Kent opening his shirt to reveal his true identity, Blair is ready for her reveal and we know that she will succeed though we do not yet know what that success will look like for her.
