if we were you would see us in a boat, rather than my kids stopping to watch in amazement when a boat passes by.
Shawn hates the water, not so much for himself but for his kids.
I love the water but I can't stand the thought of my kids in too much water that is too deep. So I submit to him in this area.
But every year about this time the kids start begging to go to Lake JB Thomas just to play in the water at the "beach". So Shawn takes us....

But he never leaves their sides...

Unless he can torture them somehow!

Blair has turned 13! Seems like just yesterday.....

Susie White invited me to shoot with her attempting to get a nice picture of one of the Ira Flares.
She is working on a project. The night we did this was so clear, warm and pretty, unseasonably February.

The Rosson Family

Meet the Rosson Family.
Justin, Meagan and Anna came to visit me recently at my studio. They are the nicest couple and Anna is just a beautiful little girl. What amazed me so much about this family was how incredibly relaxed they were with their sweet little girl although they are first time parents.
You can see that Anna feels safe and loved with her parents, it just shows in her sweet face.

These parents are enjoying their lives with their child.

Jori & Jaxton Haynes

Meet Jori & Jaxton Haynes. They invited me to play at Kiddie Park with them one day. I have had the opportunity to play with them and take their pictures before but it was when Jaxton was only about 3 months old, if that old. So getting to play and shoot them recently was a special treat because Jaxton's personality is so much more developed and watching Jori play with her brother now that he is older was even more fun.

Junior High Lady Bulldogs

We finally got all the Junior High girls rounded up.

These girls had a great season. I am so looking forward to watching them all grow up and play the game together. They are really going to make their mark on Ira as a team.

Sweet Sixteen

Bridget Garcia invited me to her Sweet 16 on February 14. What fun.

Bridget is a beautiful girl with a wonderfully supportive family.
