Hill, Strickland & McCowen Thanksgiving, 2014

Another Hill Thanksgiving.  We were very glad that we weren't having our family celebration in a nursing home this year which is what we thought might happen back in June when my mom broke her leg.  Thankful for family time together, backroads and cactus.

The Doug Neff Family, 2014

Doug and Wetonia Neff.  Shawn and I have watched their kids grow for years now.  They are just beautiful adults and now there is a little one that they are proud of.  Plus, Precious the rescue dog.  Dakotah is a student at Tarleton getting all his basics in and apparently expanding his family with Precious.  Jenna has her beautiful energetic daughter, Kinley.  We had a lot of fun exploring this old barn that has exceptional lighting and just catching up on what life has brought lately.
Neffs, thank you for calling me.  I very much enjoyed the time spent with you all.

One of the sweetest things I saw all night

Sweet Valerie Juarez, the last of the four Juarez girls has grown up!  I have known her since she was in Kindergarten or before probably and have thought the world of her and all her sisters and her parents.  What an honor to be a part of her celebration.  She makes a beautiful woman just as she was a beautiful child.  Valerie, thank you for being a part of the girls lives and I am looking forward to watching you as you grow into adulthood.
