Will and Lauren Collier.  Collier Dairy.  Sweet, rowdy country kids and day old calves.  Lauren and Will handle all of Scurry County's milk.  The kids are mini-me's of both Lauren and Will.  No one can deny anyone in this bunch.  They wanted to celebrate a good crop of corn and their lives in agriculture.  I really did enjoy this family and how the kids were so completely country kids, dirt is not a big deal to them.  It is a huge part of life, just like the calves and the corn.
Thank you Will and Lauren for calling me.  I truly enjoyed y'all!

After 26 plus years of living in Scurry County, and being married to an original Scurry County resident, I haven't missed very many folks.  However, the Derouen Family, by the little I learned about them have made it their business to mind their business.  Mrs. Derouen, as she was described to me, is a very nice lady.  And she is obviously raised her kids to take care of their own business as well.  All of the children that I took pictures of were so well behaved and sweet!  I was impressed with this family's cohesive attitudes.  They truly seem to care and take care of one another.  They had their own rhythm and sense of humor, they entertained themselves and one another with respect and love.
Thank you Mrs. Derouen for inviting me into your family time.  And for allowing my tardiness!
