The older they get the more they do to make you proud....and wonder how on earth they could be yours!  Shawn and I were neither one scholars so the fact that Blair is doing well in school is something that we are very proud of!  She's a smart beautiful girl and we are proud of her!  (Secretly we call her our little freak of nature...cause we still just don't understand how on earth she came from US!)

The event name is Calvary Baptist Tea, the password is calvary.

Estrogen Party. Calvary Mother Daughter Tea 2012

 I am never sure what I enjoy most about the tea party that Calvary has for the women ever year....the decorations, the women or the insane entertainment.

 Possibly I enjoy the amazing cakes, looking at them and also EATING them!

 We had 397 ladies sign up for the tea this year.  We have definitely out grown our Life Center.  I'm not sure how many ladies we seated but I know it was many many many!

 There was a tiny little bit of Testosterone available!

 But the most important part of the day was the Mothers and the Daughters.  I have been shooting this event for seven years now and it is easily my favorite event of the year.  (I didn't say my easiest, its my favorite)

 It is such a unique opportunity to get four or five generations of ladies together not just for the pictures but to celebrate their love for one another, dependency on one another.  Their similarities and the differences.

 Some of the mothers and daughters are of the adopted type.  Adopted out of love and necessity....

 ...or the natural type... pure blood lines, no interruptions...

 ...and the integrated type of Mother Daughter relationships....

This is one of our Present Daughters, Future Mothers!

Thank you for all your work ladies, decorations, entertainments, all of it.  It was a blast!
